Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Branch #9714 in Kansas City, MO is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to support deliveries, order prep, and customer service. You will load and unload, operate basic warehouse equipment, assist customers, and process transactions in the POS system.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion
• Willing to work all scheduled hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Load and unload products from deliveries
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment including forklifts, hand trucks/pallet jacks, carts
• Assist customers in person and over the phone
• Process sales transactions in the POS accurately and consistently
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Ensure that the stockroom is organized
• Operate color retrieval and paint mixing machine equipment as needed
• Comply with inventory control procedures and assist with physical inventory process
• Complete monthly and quarterly safety training
