Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Deli Associate at our Crescent Springs, KY location. The role involves preparing, packing, labeling, and merchandising deli products, and stocking backrooms to support store operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least one year of retail experience. Strong reading, math, and communication skills, plus attention to detail, are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills needed for recipes, weights and measures.
• Detail oriented approach to labeling, packaging and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce deli products per plan.
• Package and label deli products.
• Merchandise deli products per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with deli products, rotate and date cases.
• Work with other departments and stores to support growth.
• Notify Deli Manager when products or supplies need ordering.
• Follow PPE, safety and food safety guidelines.
