Coborn’s, Inc. is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We provide training; you bring a positive attitude and desire to learn.

The role focuses on delivering remarkable customer service and creating a friendly atmosphere while engaging guests through samples and suggestive selling. You will handle slicing, weighing, packing, labeling, salad prep, and serving hot case items where applicable. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is essential for maintaining appealing deli

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• In this position, you may also be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products.
