Schnucks Edwardsville is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk. You will greet customers, prepare sandwiches, slice meats and cheeses, and keep the deli area clean and well stocked.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, following safe handling of knives, and providing warm, friendly service in a fast-paced environment. We offer benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and teammate discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Able to translate pounds and ounces to decimals.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers in person and on the phone.
• Slice and weigh lunch meats and cheeses and offer thickness choices.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads and party trays per recipes while maintaining quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of the deli area, equipment and backroom following safety guidelines.
• Operate deli equipment safely and follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist in with other duties as assigned.
• Maintain accuracy in orders and ensure freshness through proper rotation.
