Qualifications

• Customer focus to deliver friendly guest service and address needs
• Clear verbal and written communication for guest interactions and team
• Ability to quickly assess issues and provide solutions in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of safety requirements, proper training on slicers and equipment
• Understanding of retail food operations and deli merchandising

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful guest service with a friendly greeting and attentive assistance
• Help guests locate items and answer deli department calls professionally
• Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests
• Address guest concerns promptly using best-practice resolution methods
• Inspect and rotate deli products, maintain temperatures, and replenish displays
• Maintain deli storage inventory including supplies and equipment
• Lead by example on food safety logs and safety standards
• Meet quality standards and timelines by 10 am and 5 pm daily
• Attend shifts reliably and coordinate with teammates when replacements are needed
• Support the team with other duties as assigned
