Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate to take excellent care of customers by meeting their needs and exceeding expectations. You will need product knowledge, basic math, and teamwork to deliver a great shopping experience.

Responsibilities include preparing, packaging, stocking products to Fresh Foods Standards, providing friendly service, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting safe operations. Training in food sanitation and customer service is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Ability to read and write English and present information to customers.
• Ability to perform basic math with money and weight units (US).
• Willingness to train and work with the team to boost customer satisfaction and sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs.
• Prepare, process, package, stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards.
• Unload stock and reload salvage products.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
