Job summary

Harris Teeter in Belmont, NC is hiring a part-time Retail Associate. You will take excellent care of customers by meeting their needs and exceeding expectations, while applying product knowledge, stocking, and teamwork.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED (or 1–3 months of related experience), English language proficiency, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Training on safety and customer service is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, write, and present information in English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds, may require up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Complete Harris Teeter training including food safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations.
• Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to standards.
• Provide customer service and maintain clean work areas.
• Unload stock and reload salvage products.
• Work with associates to create a positive shopping environment.
