Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid California credential for Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Deaf/Hard of Hearing classrooms.
• Background Check (DOJ/FBI) or fingerprint clearance.
• TB clearance required.
• Eligibility to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals.
• Maintain a safe, functional learning environment with effective classroom management.
• Observe, assess and report student progress; communicate with parents.
• Use Signing Exact English or American Sign Language as appropriate.
• Adjust hearing devices per audiologist instructions.
• Provide accommodations for students with advanced hearing needs.
