Job summary

St. Louis Community College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Deaf Communications courses for the Spring 2026–2027 academic year. This is an onsite, in-person position located in the St. Louis, Missouri area.

Adjunct Faculty are part-time instructors who provide high-quality instruction, maintain academic integrity, and support a inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities include teaching, preparing materials, assessing student work, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in the subject field or Master’s with at least 30 approved graduate hours in the subject or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with major in subject field and relevant professional experience, or other combinations as allowed by accrediting bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned credit courses in accordance with approved outlines and objectives.
  • Prepare for instruction with course materials, activities, and assessments.
  • Deliver instruction using effective strategies to engage students.
  • Assess and provide timely feedback on student performance and maintain accurate records.
