Job summary

Urban Tailz, a long-running dog-walking and pet-sitting business in Chicago, seeks a part-time daytime dog walker. You will ensure dogs are happy and well cared for during weekday walks, with PTO and 401(k) benefits. Paid training and growth opportunities are available, including Overnight Pet Sitting options.

Availability is at least 4 days per week, Monday through Friday, with 8am–4pm windows. Must have a smartphone and reliable means to reach clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Part-time daytime dog walker.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead 30- to 60-minute walks and active play sessions.
• Prepare dogs for outdoor walks with safety gear.
• Administer food, water, or medication per client instructions.
• Log health notes and photos, and provide updates to clients.
• Build rapport with pets and their owners.
