Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Nurse Assistant to deliver direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision. Responsibilities include bathing, hygiene, feeding, toileting, mobility, and round-based safety checks on the unit.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a UAP training program or relevant healthcare experience. Part-time schedule with day shifts and benefits is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum that meets minimum training standards or documented experience as a Nursing Assistant/EMT/ER Tech/Surgical Tech in past 3 years.
• Or LPN program outside the US awaiting licensure exam; nursing student who completed fundamentals; or licensure candidacy failed in past 3 years; or certified nursing assistant as defined by MO law.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by licensed staff.
• Perform regular patient rounds to support safety and satisfaction.
• Assist with bathing, hygiene, nutrition, toileting, and mobility.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and document care as required.
