Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care as delegated by licensed nursing personnel. The role includes bathing, hygiene, feeding, hydration, and assisting with mobility to support patient safety and comfort.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel program or equivalent experience, and current BLS certification. Prior hospital or long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum or documented experience as Nursing Assistant/EMT/ER tech or related roles.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff.
• Perform activities such as bathing, hygiene, toileting, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Support patient safety and satisfaction by regular rounds and clear communication with the care team.
