Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under licensed staff. The role includes bathing, hygiene, nourishment and hydration, and toileting support, as well as assisting with mobility and positioning.

The position emphasizes patient safety, satisfaction, and effective communication with the care team during rounds. A high school diploma or GED is required, and BLS certification is required; prior hospital or nursing home experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum per 19 CSR 30-20.125 or equivalent recent nursing aide experience within 3 years.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including bathing, hygiene, nutrition and toileting.
• Assist with ambulation, positioning and patient safety; communicate with the care team.
• Perform regular patient rounds to support patient safety and satisfaction.
