Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Nurse Assistant to perform direct and indirect patient care tasks under licensed nursing personnel. You will assist with bathing, hygiene, feeding, hydration, toileting, ambulation, and positioning to support patient safety and comfort.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a UAP curriculum or equivalent experience, with a preference for prior hospital or nursing home experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum or documented equivalent experience.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by licensed nursing personnel.
• Provide basic patient care such as bathing, hygiene, feeding, hydration, and toileting.
• Conduct regular patient rounds to support safety and satisfaction and communicate with the care team.
• Assist with ambulation and positioning and ensure age-appropriate care.
