Job summary

CBRE is seeking a part-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to support upkeep of small to medium buildings, HVAC, plumbing, and general equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure safe, reliable operations on site.

Excellent communication, basic MS Office skills, and a valid driver's license are required. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, climbing, and working under supervision to follow defined procedures.

Qualifications

• High school or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet physical requirements.
• Able to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Maintain air systems, HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and general building systems.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Use defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver outputs by following procedures under supervision.
