Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Ohio to support the upkeep of small to medium sized buildings and industrial systems. This dynamic, hands-on role covers HVAC, plumbing, air systems, and general building maintenance on a part-time day shift.

You will help ensure the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in line with CBRE’s high service standards. The position requires 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver''s license, and the ability to meet physical demands

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repair on air systems, HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and general building systems to ensure safe and reliable facility operations.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
