Job summary

Education Development Center (EDC) is seeking 5 part-time Data-Collectors (Casual I) to support a federally funded study in elementary schools. This hybrid position requires in-person administration of science assessments for kindergarten and 1st grade, with travel to Madison, Wisconsin and other sites.

You will work about 15–20 hours per week during peak windows, totaling 100–200 hours per school year, across three years.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Human Subjects training and certification
• Successful completion of child assessment training
• Criminal background check required for state DOE compliance

Responsibilities

• Participate in orientation meetings and all data collection trainings
• Become a reliable assessment administrator
• Travel locally to data collection sites and administer assessments
• Enter data and write follow-up notes within 24 hours
• Coordinate with teachers and study team leaders
