Job summary

The University of Florida seeks a Competency Assessment Data Analyst on a two-year, time-limited basis to design and refine assessment tools, conduct literature reviews, collect and analyze data, and prepare results for reporting.

The role requires independent work, effective collaboration with project staff, and the ability to manage multiple priorities; hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, 10 hours per week, with a pay rate of $22.00/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of statistical software packages (SPSS, SAS, or R).
• Experience in data management and data analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Refine survey instruments and develop focus group protocols.
• Conduct searches, evaluations, and syntheses of relevant literature.
• Coordinate and support data collection activities.
• Process, analyze, and visualize quantitative and/or qualitative data.
• Organize, summarize, and document results for reports and project deliverables.
• Prepare and curate project data for appropriate data sharing and preservation.
• Maintain clear documentation related to data collection, processing, and analysis activities.
• Assist with the preparation of project reports, presentations, and dissemination materials.
