Zoox seeks a Data Analyst to transform vehicle telemetry, service logs, and operations data into clear insights, powering decisions across operations, safety, and engineering.

You’ll develop analytics, KPIs, and dashboards to help teams understand performance and drive improvements, while collaborating with cross-functional partners on data initiatives. This part-time student role requires on-site work in Seattle and at least 20 hours per week for a minimum of three months.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with operational, logistics, or fleet-related data is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and analysis.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and reporting preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).
• Experience working with large datasets and transforming raw data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar analytics platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vehicle telemetry, service logs, dispatch data, and operational metrics to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for fleet operations, safety, and engineering stakeholders.
• Define, track, and report on KPIs related to fleet performance, mission success, readiness, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure datasets used for analysis are accurate, well-structured, and reliable.
