Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking part-time youth sports coaches for after-school programs at Bay Area elementary schools. Each session lasts about one hour, Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a possible extra 30 minutes of pre-care.

Pay ranges from $50–$65 per session and all equipment is provided. Coaches will teach children ages 5–10, manage 8–16 students, and attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.

Qualifications

Must be 19+ years old.
Must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required.
Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work.
Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on the website and introduce your experience in sports.

Responsibilities

Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
Equipment (provided). Coach should have reliable transportation.
Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
Capture a few class photos for documentation.
