Job summary

Nicolet College is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to join the Cybersecurity Technical Degree Program at the Rhinelander campus. The instructor will deliver instruction across courses such as Written Communication, Digital Literacy with Cyber Security, Network+ Fundamentals, IT Security, Cybersecurity Analyst, and Pen Testing+.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cybersecurity or related field required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional cybersecurity-related experience.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+/CySA+/PenTest+ or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Eligibility to meet faculty credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in cybersecurity and IT courses using established curriculum.
• Develop and maintain course materials, assessments, and lab activities.
• Teach foundational and advanced cybersecurity concepts including networking and ethical hacking.
• Incorporate hands-on labs using cybersecurity tools and virtual environments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback and support.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and records per college policies.
• Stay current with cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum reviews.
