The ideal candidate holds AWS CWI certification, has experience inspecting structural welds, and can travel regionally. This role requires safety-conscious field work and accurate reporting, with flexible hours to suit project needs.

Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification required and relevant inspection experience.
• Experience performing visual inspections of structural steel welds.
• Ability to review drawings, welding symbols and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of structural steel welds and welded connections.
• Inspect high-strength bolted connections per project requirements.
• Review structural drawings, welding symbols and specifications.
• Document inspection findings in detailed field reports.
• Communicate nonconforming work and quality concerns to stakeholders.
• Follow Atlas safety procedures on site.
