Job summary

Qualifications

• Current AWS CWI certification is required.
• Experience performing visual inspections of structural steel welds and welded connections.
• Willingness to travel throughout South Florida as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of structural steel welds and welded connections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, codes and standards.
• Inspect high-strength bolted connections per project requirements.
• Review structural drawings, welding symbols and project specifications for quality and conformance.
• Document inspection findings and prepare accurate field reports.
• Communicate nonconforming work and inspection results to stakeholders promptly.
• Follow Atlas safety requirements and project-specific procedures during field inspections.
