Job summary

Kiwa PPI is expanding its Quality Control team with experienced QC Specialists. You will perform and witness inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry codes, customer specifications, and Kiwa PPI procedures.

You will verify equipment calibration, confirm technician certifications, and produce clear inspection reports to support informed decision-making. As the customer’s representative at supplier and fabrication sites, you will promote safe work practices, communicate results

Qualifications

• Current CWI certification required.
• 5+ years shop inspection experience required.
• Thorough understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly, etc.).
• Understanding of industry quality standards and codes (API, ASME, NACE, DS-1).
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per plans and standards.
• Verify calibration and certification of inspection equipment.
• Ensure technician certifications are current for scope of activity.
• Generate reports documenting inspection results and decisions.
• Communicate job progression and inspection results to customers and coordinators.
• Promote safe work practices and comply with quality management system.
