Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer in our Dinuba store. This part-time role includes assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

You will interact with customers daily, apply strong communication skills, and contribute to a welcoming store culture while supporting team goals and store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
