Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Duties include assisting customers with questions and recommendations, managing transactions at the cash register, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store.

Part-time roles are available at 1200 Park St., Hartford, CT, with a focus on safety and customer service. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar settings is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register and protect company assets.
• Stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and presentable.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment.
