Job summary

Dollar Tree in Franklin Township, NJ is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and safe.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
