Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle sales at the register, and help maintain stock and store cleanliness.

This part-time role emphasizes friendly interactions, safety, and professionalism with customers and team members at our West Burlington, Iowa location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation
• Other duties as assigned*
