Job summary

Family Dollar in Wilson, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help with stock and store upkeep.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and maintain a professional demeanor with customers and teammates. Part-time hours and on-site work at 5251 Church Loop N, Wilson, NC 27893.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar settings preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
