Job summary

Millis Public Schools seeks a part-time custodian to support town and school buildings, primarily morning hours with a 20-hour work week. The role covers cleaning, mail runs, snow removal, and occasional inter-building rotation, with CJIS training as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or GED), a valid Massachusetts driver's license, and reliability to perform assigned responsibilities in a public-service setting. Paid training and evaluation will occur.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts driver's license.
• Custodial experience preferred but not necessary.
• Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician.
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned responsibilities.
• High School graduate or GED.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Committee may find appropriate and acceptable

Responsibilities

• General day-to-day custodial duties.
• Mail run for Schools/other Departments as needed.
• Covering duties at the Police Station in case of absence; CJIS Training.
• Floater between Town/School Buildings on a rotation basis.
• Snow removal during working hours as needed
