Job summary

The Jewish Community Center Of Greater Columbus is seeking a part-time cleaner to work evenings and weekends at our Columbus, OH location. The role involves cleaning, floor care, and maintaining gymnasium, pool, and fitness areas to support a safe, welcoming community space.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of cleaning experience, the ability to lift 40 pounds, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Preferred, Solid Grasp of English.
1-year experience in commercial building cleaning.
Must be able to lift 40 pound loads.
This job involves considerable walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Clear and clean tables.
Dust, sweep, mop, and scrub floors.
Run floor machine.
Vacuum carpets.
Remove all trash to dumpsters.
Clean and maintain gymnasiums, pool areas, fitness center & health clubs.
Put away classroom toys and stack chairs.
Empty outside trash cans and recycling bins.
Clean and maintain all restrooms and restroom supplies.
Assist in maintaining grounds and facility, and set up and tear down events as required.
