Job summary

The Jewish Community Center Of Greater Columbus is seeking a part-time cleaner to work evenings and weekends at our Columbus, OH location. The role involves cleaning, floor care, and maintaining gymnasium, pool, and fitness areas to support a safe, welcoming community space.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of cleaning experience, the ability to lift 40 pounds, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in commercial building cleaning.
• Must be able to lift 40 pound loads.
• This job involves considerable walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and scrub floors.
• Run floor machine.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Remove all trash to dumpsters.
• Clean and maintain gymnasiums, pool areas, fitness center & health clubs.
• Put away classroom toys and stack chairs.
• Empty outside trash cans and recycling bins.
• Clean and maintain all restrooms and restroom supplies.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and facility, and set up and tear down events as required.
