Job summary

SDAC is seeking a Janitor to maintain offices and common areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at a government facility in Atlanta. The role requires attention to safety and the ability to complete routine cleaning tasks across offices, restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces.

Base pay is $19.56 per hour for non-exempt work with standard custodial duties. Applicants should be able to pass drug screening and a federal background check, and must be permanent residents of the U.S.

Qualifications

• Commercial janitorial experience preferred.
• Permanent resident with at least 3 years of U.S. residency.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and Federal background check

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements and procedures.
• Secure work areas and post safety signage as needed.
• Perform floor care (mopping, buffing, burnishing, carpet cleaning).
• Clean restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common areas.
• Dust, clean walls, and maintain public spaces.
• Maintain custodial equipment and storage areas.
• Perform periodic and assigned cleaning tasks as needed
