YMCA of Dane County is seeking a part-time evening/weekend custodian to ensure a safe, clean environment for members and program participants. The role involves floor care, restroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and outdoor snow/ice clearance.

Qualifying candidates should be 18+, know standard cleaning and safety procedures, operate custodial equipment, and follow verbal and written instructions. YMCA membership is included as a perk.

Formación

• 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning and safety procedures, including restroom sanitation procedures
• Knowledge of safe operation of standard and/or electrical floor or carpet care, custodial equipment, lawn care equipment and ladders
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Responsabilidades

This position cleans and maintains building and exterior grounds areas to provide a safe and clean environment for members and program participants.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs daily cleaning duties that include:
  • Dry mops and wet mops floors
  • Cleans restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas
  • Dusts, vacuums, remove trash and clean around equipment
  • Clears snow and ice from walkways, driveways and other areas as needed
