Job summary

West YMCA is seeking a dedicated team member to join our facilities team in Madison, WI. The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining building and exterior grounds to provide a safe, welcoming environment for members and program participants.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, restroom sanitation, floor care, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and seasonal snow and ice management. We offer Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and a free YMCA membership.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning and safety procedures including restroom sanitation.
• Knowledge of safe operation of custodial and related equipment.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Knowledge of safe operation of standard and/or electrical floor or carpet care, custodial equipment, lawn care equipment and ladders
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
