Job summary

Kansas Health System’s Liberty Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a mid-shift, part-time schedule (Fri, Sat, Sun, 12:00 PM–12:30 AM). The CT Technologist performs cross-sectional imaging to aid diagnosis and operates CT scanners with focus on radiation safety and dose management.

The role includes supporting education, mentoring staff, and coordinating patient flow across designated locations. Required ARRT CT certification, state licensure within specified timelines, BLS, and familiarity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Radiologic Technology certificate from an accredited program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with departments and assist with approved radiology projects.
• Support CT education strategies and staff enrichment.
• Teach and mentor technologists and students.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely per policies and procedures.
• Operate CT scanners and related devices at designated locations with minimal dose while maintaining image quality.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and minimize patient stay.
• Respond to contrast reactions and patient needs promptly.
• Complete mandatory educational assignments and advance CT procedures with increasing expertise.

Education
