Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an XR/CT Technologist for a part-time role in Medical Imaging. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, maintain image quality, and support workflow from room prep to documentation, with growing autonomy over time.

The role requires ARRT registry eligibility or certification, CPR, strong communication, and the ability to assist in patient movement. 32 hours per week on varied night shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registry-eligible or registered; pass certification within 6 months of graduation.
• CPR certification required; excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art radiologic equipment.
• Ensure image quality and patient comfort during every procedure.
• Complete all aspects of exam workflow including room prep, patient positioning, and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff to explain procedures and address concerns.
