Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with continuing education strategies for the CT Department.
• Provide teaching and learning opportunities to technologists and students.
• Ensure staff operate equipment safely by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Operate CT scanners and auxiliary devices within designated locations.
• Maintain radiation dose to achieve quality images while protecting patients.
• Coordinate patient flow and examinations to minimize stay in hospital.
• Respond to patient needs, including contrast reactions, promptly.
• Complete mandatory educational assignments as directed by supervisors.
• Perform routine CT procedures and develop skills for specialty studies.
