Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continuing education.
• Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
• BLS Provider obtained within one month of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures with patient positioning, protocol selection, and image acquisition.
• Explain procedures, obtain informed consent, and address patient questions.
• Operate CT equipment safely, following radiation safety and dose optimization.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse events.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Perform QA checks on imaging equipment and report issues.
• Communicate with radiologists and clinicians regarding findings.
• Keep a clean, organized, and infection-controlled work area.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain licensure.
