Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging. You will perform computerized tomographic radiologic procedures on patients and may conduct general diagnostic radiology exams as part of standard care.

A valid BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, with multiple credentialing paths accepted. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and maintain continuing education hours.

Job Description

Willing to train a Radiology Technologist

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
• BLS Provider obtained within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

One or more of the following: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire. Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
