Job summary

The role requires ARRT CT certification (or registry eligibility with timely attainment), BLS certification, and a strong attention to detail. Hospital experience with PACS/RIS workflows is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registry or registry eligibility with the requirement to obtain within 12 months.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for CT scans.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist as needed with procedures.
• Operate CT equipment and adjust settings to obtain diagnostic images.
• Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors when required.
• Ensure radiation safety and ALARA principles during procedures.
• Document studies in PACS/RIS and ensure accurate billing information.
