Job summary

Olmsted Medical Group in Owatonna, MN, is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) for 0.6 FTE day/evening shifts. The role includes assisting in the operating room, maintaining asepsis, and supporting the surgical team.

Starting wage range is $37.14 to $55.71 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus contingent on employment commitment. External candidates are offered within the stated range based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP Surgical Assistant program or NSAA-approved Mayo Clinic Program
• Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) via NBSTSA or NCCSA
• OR experience or training within past 3 years preferred
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides visualization of the operative site.
• Assists with hemostasis and closure of body planes.
• Positions patient and prepares skin as needed.
• Works as a scrub tech when required.
• Maintains sterile technique and communicates with team.
• Performs instrumentation handling during procedures.
