Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Ability to follow directions, be cordial with the public, and maintain a dependable work ethic.
• Preference given to candidates with basic Excel knowledge for timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Observes road traffic to determine best timing for road crossings; escorts children and pedestrians as needed to assure safe crossings.
• Monitors behaviors of children and educates children regarding traffic safety as appropriate.
• Observes general activity while on duty to detect suspicious behaviors; reports such observations.
• Reports work time and work activities to the Receptionist.
