Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• An unencumbered professional RN nursing license in New Mexico.
• Illinois RN License will be required to teach all courses (course assignments prioritized to professors who are currently licensed in Illinois)
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
• At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse

Responsibilities

• Teaching and Curriculum Implementation: Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
• Student Evaluation and Support: Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student's knowledge base, skill competency and individual learning needs.
• Clinical Coordination: Orient and maintain current knowledge related to clinical site policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of the clinical site personnel.
• Program and College Development: Contribute to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the College.
• Professionalism and Collaboration: Serve as a professional role model for other faculty, staff, and students.
