Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina is seeking a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the ICU team on a part-time basis (0.75 FTE). The APP will manage a caseload of critically ill adults, perform approved procedures, and collaborate with ICU physicians to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Both PA-C and NP-ACNP/AGACNP candidates are considered, with required licensure and prescriptive authority.

Qualifications

• Requires PA-C or NP-ACNP/AGACNP credentials.
• Experience in critical care settings preferred.
• Licensure in NC with prescriptive privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services for critically ill adult patients.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per ICU protocols.
• Document care plans, orders, and patient responses.
