Job summary

Child & Family Service in Hawaii is seeking a Crisis Specialist II for the MSAC program, 18 hours per week. Under the Island Director/Clinical Supervisor, you will provide crisis stabilization, information and referral services, and outreach to participants with safety and supportive needs.

You will maintain notes, complete required documentation, and participate in agency meetings. A Hawaii driver's license and flexibility to work evenings/weekends are required; this position supports families

Qualifications

• High School plus additional training equals 2 years of college, with possible licensing or apprenticeship.
• Knowledge of child growth, development and behavior; parenting practices; case management and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis stabilization and information and referral services to participants.
• Complete required administrative tasks (reports, mileage, forms) in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in meetings; act as a role model for staff and participants.
