Job summary

Qualifications

• Florida teaching credential or Bachelor's degree with an ESE certificate.
• Experience teaching reading instruction in a classroom setting.
• Experience with Special Education students and accommodations.
• Willingness to be trained in the Science of Reading.
• Ability to complete DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance within 48 hours of offer.
• Ability to provide 3 professional references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted instruction in reading or math to support students.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group tutoring using provided curriculum and educational tech.
• Differentiate teaching strategies for diverse learning needs.
• Maintain effective classroom management for a safe learning environment.
• Track student progress and adjust instruction for growth.
• Prepare lesson plans during designated prep time.
