Job summary

Dickinson Center, Inc. in Ridgway, PA seeks a Certified Peer Specialist for a part-time role serving in-home or community-based recovery services. You will manage a small caseload and build trusting relationships to help peers identify recovery goals and access resources.

Under supervision of the CPSS Supervisor and Program Director, you may facilitate recovery groups and participate in educational activities to promote recovery principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-oriented peer support services to individuals in home or community settings.
• Manage an assigned caseload under supervision of the CPSS Supervisor and Program Director.
• Establish trusting, supportive relationships and help peers identify recovery goals and access community resources.
• Facilitate recovery groups as needed and participate in education of recovery principles.
