Lancopasheriff is seeking a part-time Bailiff in Lancaster County, PA. The role supports courtroom security, assists jurors, and helps coordinate proceedings under the Judge's direction. You will escort parties, handle documents, and provide information to court staff.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and ability to work in a court environment.
• Basic knowledge of legal proceedings and the roles of parties.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, protect security, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Greet attorneys, witnesses, plaintiffs and defendants and escort them to the appropriate courtrooms.
• Deliver files and correspondence to Court and Court Related offices; liaise with the Assistant Court Administrator.
• Register jurors and assist with orientation; coordinate jury panels as directed by the Judge.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Bailiff Supervisor and substitute for reception duties as needed.
