Job summary

The Oregon Judicial Department (OJD) is seeking a part-time Court Clerk (Court Operations Specialist) in Astoria, Oregon. You will manage cases from filing to final disposition, review filings, enter data, and assist judges and staff with deadlines and workflows.

Responsibilities include customer service, cashiering, training new staff, and providing tech support for public kiosks and filings. This role offers pay equity adjustments and bilingual incentives where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Four years of responsible administrative experience.
• Experience with data entry and case management is needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage court cases from start to finish.
• Review filings for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter data into the case management system and track deadlines.
• Explain court procedures to attorneys, litigants, and the public.
• Provide cashiering duties and receipts as needed.
